Bought an '08 RoadGlide. The first few hundred miles, it felt like it wanted to stall pulling off in 1st, but ya learn to get real smooth with the throttle and clutch (God I love that new clutch!) and it just goes. Don't even notice it any more.

Ride_slow, atlas rides in the bottom of the tourpak, much better, larger detail, more roads than the HOG atlas, plus the HOG atlas costs twice the road atlas.

Buy a road atlas, one of those big suckers with the spiral binding. It'll get ya most anywhere.
Come down to Las Vegas, ride across southern Utah national parks (Rts 12, 95), down thru Monument Valley then west to the Canyon. Fantastic roads! Uh, how much time do you have to make the trip?
